Venatori Umbrorum Research Profiles: Little Rock

Mostly Harmless

Little Rock is the capital and the largest city of the U.S. state of Arkansas. The Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) had a population of 699,757 people in the 2010 census. The MSA is in turn included in the Little Rock–North Little Rock–Pine Bluff, Arkansas Combined Statistical Area, which had a population of 877,091 in the 2010 census, making it the 47th largest combined statistical area in America. As of the 2010 US Census, Little Rock had a population of 193,524. It is the county seat of Pulaski County.

Until recently, our research on Little Rock had been relatively minimal, due to lack of necessity. However, due to recent changes in the status quo of the area, we have expanded our research on the area for any of our agents or allies in the area.

A Note From the Editor

I as recently called to Little Rock, Arkansas on a curious case. In preparation for my trip, I turned to the Venatori Umbrorum databases to do some preemptive research on the area, only to find our info on the area to be, well, absurdly lacking. As such, I will be divulging my case files that are of relevance to the area as I write them, as well as whatever statements I can collect from others in the area.

Before you read on, I must give two points of warning. First, please keep in mind that, though these files are being submitted to the Venatori Umbrorum databases, these files primary purpose is for my own personal research and record keeping. As such, they will typically be written in a much less formal form than standard Venatori Umbrorum field reports. If you are bothered by this, feel free to file your own damn research and reports on this area.

Secondly, I am very up-front about my activities, relations, and business. You may not agree with some of the people I associate with or the methods by which I apporach various situations. Fortunately, we are, as an association, far less political than our allies in the White Council. The Venatori Umbrorum approached me for membership, not the other way around. If my life, or the lives of my comrades or associates, is made difficult due to these reports, I have no qualms pulling these reports along with any other research, resources, and aid I currently avail to my brothers and sisters in the Venatori Umbrorum. I won’t do such a thing lightly, butI won’t let prejudice stand in the way of my work.

That said, I present for the consideration of the Venatori Umbrorum, “The Casefiles of a Supernatural Little Rock, Arkansas: A Collection of Reports, Interviews, and Observations”.
